About Us
Kamala College of Education is located in the picturesque natural beauty on the banks of the river Gedilam in the National Highways Madras – Trichy, 23 Kilometres away from Villupuram.
The aim of the College is to provide best education at affordable cost for the students and to understand the world, in which She/he lives, to awaken interest through opportunities to explore, investigate and experiment.
Mission of the college is to empower young students from rural areas with emphasis on academic excellence and holistic development, to face the challenges of life with courage and commitment, to be builders of a society with value orientation and to contribute for the purpose of nation building
Kamala College of Education a Christian minority institution which is Affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University and approved by NCTE with an intake of 200 students.
It was Started in the year 2007 with a intake of 100 students for B.Ed degree course. Further Sanction was accorded for additional 100 seats for B.Ed Degree in the year 2009-2010.
In the year 2012-13 the College was accredited with NAAC.
An ISO 9000-2001certified Institution.
It’s Recognised under section 2(f) of UGC Act
It’s also Minority Institution declared by National Commission for Minority Educational Institution, Govt of India
